About the job
Frauenthal Gnotec Group is looking for a driven, analytical and business-oriented Group Business Controller to strengthen our global finance function. In this central Group role, you will work closely with the CFO and plant finance teams worldwide, acting as a key partner in driving financial performance, transparency and strategic decision-making across the organization.
You will be responsible for leading Group budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes, while ensuring high-quality management reporting and performance analysis. As the financial bridge between Group Finance and our international operations, you will translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting profitability, investment decisions and continuous improvement initiatives across plants, products and regions.
The position is based at headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, with close interaction with our manufacturing sites across Europe, China and the US.
You will report to the CFO of Frauenthal Automotive Group.
Your responsibilities:
Acting as a trusted financial partner to the Group CFO and senior management
Leading the Group budget, forecast and long-term planning processes together with local Finance Managers
Analyzing and explaining Group financial performance, deviations and trends
Developing clear and insightful management reporting and KPIs
Driving profitability and performance analysis across plants, products and regions
Supporting investment decisions (CAPEX), business cases and scenario analyses
Contributing to the harmonization and further development of Group controlling tools and processes
Supporting cost improvement, efficiency and margin enhancement initiatives
Participating in strategic and cross-functional projects at Group level
Qualifications needed
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar
Several years of experience in business controlling, ideally within automotive or industrial manufacturing
Experience working in a international organization
Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost drivers and performance KPIs
